The event was attended by Dr. Michael Zimmermann, the retired ambassador of the Budapest Embassy, and Mr. Fabian Ortner, the director of the Austrian Cultural Forum. RCH, the market-leading company in Hungarian railway freight transport, has been providing continuous support for a decade and a half to those students of the institution who, in addition to their outstanding studies, also lead the way in community building.
Dr. Kovács Imre congratulated the award-winning students and praised Austrian School Budapest's renowned high standard of education. He added that RCH considers it important to maintain those support programs, even in the current unfavourable economic climate, which help young people studying in secondary schools, vocational training institutions, and higher education to realize their career paths.
